Building Community Through Parent Involvement

The PTA is an integral part of all the schools at the Jacksonville Jewish Center – Laurie Preschool, Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, Bernard & Alice Selevan Religious School, and Setzer Youth Education.

Parent involvement is essential to our goal of fostering community by serving the whole child. We could not do that without the parents and we welcome their engagement!  This truly represents the Hebrew saying: L'Dor V’Dor, from generation to generation.

The PTA  strives to integrate Jewish culture and teachings by hosting a variety of events and experiences throughout the school year. In addition to this, we also support our dedicated teachers and office staff by providing volunteer hours and extra school supplies as needed. As importantly, the PTA is a source of appreciation for all of their hard work.

Our goal is 100% participation. We know that can look different for everyone. One hour of time is worth so much. Our PTA does a tremendous amount in a year and we need your help! Each one of us has different skills, talents, and resources that are greatly needed to make “our house a home.” If you have a child in the school, you are a member of the Galinsky PTA! Our parent community is vital to the success of our children. Ready to help us grow?  Email ptapresident@dubowgottlieb.org
